London Calling
A downloadable game
In 1971, the world ended, but London continued on.
After a nuclear war, London was the only place left untouched. Now isolated and surrounded by an ever-expanding wall of fog, the city struggles to maintain normalcy in the face of impending doom.
But things aren’t right. The fog keeps growing, people are disappearing, and each night, a voice broadcasts over the radio, endlessly repeating the same ominous phrase:
"This is London Calling."
London Calling is a sandbox adventure and setting designed for Liminal Horror. Players take on the roles of ordinary people trying to survive in London while uncovering the truth about what really happened in ‘71 and the growing threat to the city’s future.
- Factions: Eight powerful groups that shape London’s fate, from the Department of Morale, acting as both broadcasting company and secret police, to the Pale-Touched, forever changed by the fog, and the nationalist Home Guard.
- Doom Clock: Tracking the city’s decline over days, weeks, and months as resources dwindle, factions tighten their control, and time runs out for London.
- Locations: Key areas in London that hold clues to the city’s fate, including the hidden truth behind how London survived.
- New Backgrounds and Fallout: Customize your characters to fit the setting and become crucial in deciding London’s destiny. Includes guidance for integrating characters from other times periods or existing campaigns.
Written for Liminal Horror but easily adaptable to other modern horror RPG systems.
Content Warning: This game explores themes of post-apocalyptic survival, societal collapse, despair, the rise of fascism, and racism. Optional guidance is provided for modifying these themes to suit your group’s needs.
London Calling is an independent production by Michael Rees and is not affiliated with Goblin Archives LLC. It is published under the Liminal Horror Third Party License.

I'm very interested, but it looks hard to read the way the font is placed against various backgrounds.
That was a concern I had as well and I spent a lot of time adjusting the background images so that they'll be dark enough that the white text stands out. The preview images had to be low resolution for the site but on the pdf itself they are very clear.
Thanks!
